Mary Tendall is a licensed psychotherapist who has treated and worked with hundreds of combat veterans and their families for over 20 years. For 17 years she was sub-contracted with a Vet Center. She continues to treat the impact of combat trauma as well as serves as a consultant for NPR, leads workshops and retreats and speaks at professional conferences nationally and internationally and publishes articles about combat trauma. She is in the process of finishing a film entitled, Stand Down which shows how and why combat-related ptsd occurs, normalizes the symptoms and offers hope through the healing stories of combat veterans and their spouses.
